Many extend New Year greetings

Governor La Ganesan, chief minister N Biren Singh, ministers, political organisations, institutions ana civil societies extended their warm greetings and wished the people of Manipur a prosperous New Year - 2023 .
In his message, Governor La Ganesan said, "As we enter 2023, let us all resolve to work together for creating harmony and perfect peace in all parts of Manipur during the coming year" .
"I join the people of Manipur in celebrating New Year Day 2023 and hope that the coming year will be much better and more prosperous as compared to all the previous years, he conveyed.
Chief minister N Biren, in his message, stated that the year 2022 was a year of progress and achievement for the state of Manipur.
Several development projects were taken up in different sectors including health, education, roads, start-ups and sports among others.
The chief minister also treasured the support from different communities towards the government's War on Drugs Campaign and people's trust in the public administration.
"As our country has assumed Presidency for G20 with the state hosting an event during February 2023, let us grab the opportunity to showcase our potentials and move towards further development.
As the year 2023 dawns, 1 seek the cooperation and support of my people in the state government's effort to make Manipur a world class tourist destination and in attaining self-reliance," he said.
Extending his heartiest greetings and warm wishes to the people of Manipur for the New Year-2023, Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee president and Wangkhem MLA Keisham Meghachandra has expressed hope that the New Year 2023 will peace, happiness and prosperity in the state in every held.
May the New Year-2023 bring happiness, love, and prosperity among all the communities living in Manipur since time immemorial, Keisham Meghachandra said in his New Year message and hoped that the departing year 2022 will take away all the worries.
Health minister Dr S Ran-jan Singh, MAHUD minister Y Khemchand Singh, education minister Th Basanta Kumar Singh, commerce & industries minister Nemcha Kipgen, Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee, All Manipur United Clubs' Organisation, Manipur Peoples' Democratic Front, Langol Lukhoi Thang-Ta Sindam Sang and Kangleipak Minority Welfare Organisation also extended warm greetings and best wishes to the people in year 2023 .
