Covid-free run continues

Imphal, December 31 2022:
The state continues to maintain Covid-free status as government bulletins reported zero Covid-19 cases for the 17th consecutive day on Saturday as 40 samples tested in the last 24 hours turned negative for the infectious disease.
Meanwhile, 38 individuals were vaccinated on Friday, which took the cumulative number of vaccinated people to 16,48,726, out of which 13,38,153 had received the second dose and 2,79,107 taken precautionary doses.
The virus has, so far, claimed 2149 lives including seven CAPF personnel, and infected 1,39,922 individuals including 5,022 CAPF personnel.
