One fresh case takes caseload to two

Imphal, June 12 2022:
The state has two active cases of Covid-19 as government bulletins reported one fresh case on Sunday, out of 32 samples tested in the last 24 hours, showing a positivity rate of 3.1 per cent.
No recoveries or death cases were reported in the last 24 hours.
The lone fresh case is a resident of Ukhrul district.
Both patients are in home isolation.
Till date, the pandemic has claimed 2120 lives including seven CAPF personnel and infected 1,37,243 individuals including 5,014 CAPF personnel.
The virus has claimed lives of 194 vaccinated people, out of which 61 had received second doses of Covid vaccine.
A total of 122 D-type and 14 B-type Oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities in the last 24 hours and 1274 vaccine doses administered on Saturday which took the cumulative number of vaccinated population to 15,78,097, out of which 12,41,287 had received second doses and 1,01,098 had taken precautionary doses.
Data analysed by this daily shows that the rate of infection remains 44,228 confirmed cases per million population (based on projected population of 31,03,000 as per NCP report) against the national average of 30,734 CPM.
Test rate has improved to 5,19,858 tests per million population against the national average of 6,07,874 TPM.
Case fatality rate stands at 1.54 per cent while the recovery rate stands at 98.45 per cent.
The cumulative positivity rate stands at 8.51 per cent.
