Climate Change, organised a 2 day training programme on combating wildlife trafficking at the main conference hall of Forest HQ, Sanjenthong today.
Additional Chief Secretary (Forests and Environment) Dr Suhel Akhtar, Principal Chief Conservator of Forest and Head of Forest Force Manipur Kereilhouvi Angami and former PCCF (Wildlife) Assam DP Kankhwal attended the event as the chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
Speaking at the event, Kereilhouvi Angami said that it is the duty of the people to protect and conserve nature and wildlife.
It is high time to conserve the resources which are provided by nature instead of recklessly laying waste to everything, he added.
