Imphal, May 15 2023:
In view of the prevailing tense situation in the State, the Imphal Urban Cooperative Bank Ltd has allowed the public to remit/send money upto Rs 30,000 through RTGS/NEFT (Real Time Gross Settlement/National Electronic Funds Transfer) to bank accounts of people living outside Manipur on submission of Pan card and Aadhar card.
The press release issued by H Meghachandra Sharma, Deputy General Manager, Imphal Urban Cooperative Bank Ltd stated that this measure was taken up in light of people living outside the State, particularly students, facing shortage of funds as a result of the unstable law and order situation in Manipur.
