Many continue to extend relief items to the people who have been displaced by the recent outburst of communal conflicts in the State.
In continuation of the humanitarian aid provided to the people affected by the recent turmoil, Committee On Peaceful Co-Existence, Manipur (CPCM) in collaboration with Mayang Imphal Bengoon Loukok Apunba Club today distributed relief materials to the shelter camps opened at Pangei Yangdong, Keirang Muslim and Pukhao.
In a release, CPCM also appealed to the State Government to assess the situation in the relief camps and provide necessary assistance.

distributed relief items to the shelter camps opened at Sorbon Thingel Community Hall Uripok, Lamboi Khongnangkhong Residential School, Koutruk Makha Leikai, Kadangband Apunba Naharol Part-II, Koutruk Mamang Leikai Community Hall, Phumlou Shifai, Phumlou Kounu Primary School, Ningthoukhong Sardar Patel School, Phubala High School, Nachou Junior High School, Yairipok Bamol Leikai Khunou, Khoirom Junior High School Yairipok, Wangjing Polo Ground, Akampat Ideal College and Apunba Tengbanglu Bishnupur.
Roop-Raaga (RR) Relief Team led by Roop-Raaga president, Shamurailatpam Nabachandra Sharma also distributed relief items to the shelter camps opened at Oksubung Leikai in Moirang and Kumbi Central High School on May 14 .
In a release, Roop-Raaga stated that the 10-member team which included Hamom Pumanda, O Geet, G Surchandra, Usharani, Rina, Dasendra Oinam, Muhini Sharma, Irengbam Krishnachandra and Makhonmani also interacted with the people taking shelter at the relief camps and enquired about their needs.
Roop-Raaga has also appealed to all the communities to shun violence and come together to bring back peace & harmony in Manipur.
