Kuki MLAs meet Union home minister

In connection with the ethnic clash between two communities and de-mand for separa to adminis-tration for Chin-Kuki-Mizo-Zomi tribes by 10 Kuki MLAs, nine out of the 10 called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday morning.
According to source, tribal affairs and hills minister Letpao Haokip (Tengnoupal), tex-tiles, commerce and industries minister Nemcha Kipgen (Kangokpi), Paolienlal Ha-okip (Saikot), Letzamang Haokip (Henglep), Ngursanglur Sanate (Tipaimukh), Kimneo Haokip Hangshing (Saikul), LM Khaute (Chu-rachandpur), Chinlunthang (Singhat) and Haokholet Kipgen (Saitu) met Amit Shah and talked about recent communal violence in the state.
However, response of the union home min-ister to demand for separate administration raised by the MLAs could not be ascertained.
