MAPI Council observes 21st foundation day

Imphal, July 01 2021:
Manipur Peace and Integrity (MAPI) Council observed its 21st foundation day at the community hall of Khewa Phurju in Imphal East today in a low key manner adhering to Covid SOPs.
In a press release, MAPI Council said that detailed discussions were held during the event regarding various developmental measures and for its effective implementation for the welfare of the society.
The discussion was carried out among local elder of Khewa Phurju, Takhellambam Shamungou, president of Khewa Club, Khumbongmayum Naba, meira paibi secretary Chanamthabam Jamuna and general secretary of MAPI Council, Moirangthem Neta.

Later lemon saplings were planted in and around the village and saplings were also handed to local clubs to be distributed to households of the village.
The plantation drive has been carried out in a bid to help in the development of economy of the villagers and striving for a healthy and cleaner environment.
