BJP to end ties with allies: Bijoy

In a big revelation, BJP Manipur Pradesh chief spokesperson Ch Bijoy has said that the party is planning to sever ties with all of its alliance partners and form the next government all by itself.
Informing this to the media, Bijoy said that BJP general secretary BL Santosh is a key national leader of the party and he is visiting the state to examine initiatives taken up by the state government for Covid management and progress of vaccination drive as well as to review the assistance provided to crisis hit people under the party's Seva Hi Sangathan programme.
He also discussed the need for speeding up the vaccination drive.
During his meeting with party leaders, BL Santosh discussed the strategies to emerge as majority party in the next state assembly election and form a government of BJP alone.
As for the office bearers of the party, there will be no change in the organisational structure and the party strongly believes that the leaders and workers will put in their best efforts for the party to emerge victorious in the forthcoming state assembly election, he said.
Bijoy further informed that BL Santosh also participated in the tree plantation programme organised by the party in relation with the memorial observance of party leader Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee with the aim of making Manipur a green state.
