App launched to home deliver essential items

Imphal, July 01 2021: An e-commerce platform Akoimart app, which will home deliver food items, books for students, etc, during the Covid-19 period, was launched on Thursday.

The launch programme which was held at Akoimart office, Wangkhei Yonglan Leirak was attended by Bashikhong Zilla Parishad member Chirom Jashobanta Singh; Wangkheimayum Leirak Development Association president Keisham Indrajit Singh and Diamond Club Wangkhei Ayangpalli president Toijam Sarat Singh and general secretary Meisnam Devendro as presidium members.

Speaking at the event, Akoimart proprietor Akoijam Surchandra informed that customers can now avail home delivery service for various items using the app without going out during the pandemic.

The app can be downloaded from Google Playstore or they can telephone to order their required items, he added.
