MAPI Council celebrates 21st Foundation Day

Manipur Peace and Integrity (MAPI) Council celebrated its 21st Foundation Day at Khewa Phurju Mayai Leikai Community hall, Imphal East on Thursday with strict adherence to Covid-19 SOP.
Speaking on the occasion, Council secretary M Neta noted that the daily wage earners are the most affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and as such, we must work together to help those in need, regardless of the community we belong to.
He then prayed that the Foundation Day would usher in a pandemic-free Manipur.
As part of the celebration, the Council planted lemon tree saplings in and around Khewa Phurju Mayai Leikai and also distributed the same to local farmers.
The celebration was also attended by Khewa Club president Khumbongmayum Naba and Meira Paibi secretary Chanamthabam Jamuna.
