The state cabinet today discussed the present issues of the SHDDC's demand and the cease strikes of FECTAM and JAC of AMTUC and AMGEO.
After the meeting, SPF spokesperson N Biren told reporters that the cabinet has resolved to ferry in essential commodities to Imphal through NH 37 and Jessami Road.
Biren further said that the cabinet has approved UGC pay scales for college teachers.
It also resolved to restructure the pay anomaly as demanded by JAC of AMTUC and AMGEO.
He also said that the cabinet has approved to recruit 43 female health workers and 14 grade-IV posts in Department of Family Welfare.
It also resolved to bring up the Indian Stamp Manipur Amendment Bill in the upcoming assembly session.
Earlier, CM, Ibobi held talks with SHDDC leaders, and appealed to suspend the general strike assuring them to fulfill their
demand very soon.
