Yakila Begum's rape allegation denied

The Anjuman Islah-E-Muaashrah (AIM) today denied the rape allegation of Yakima alias Amubi by three activists of the organization which was published in local dailies on August 9 .
Speaking in a press meet, Secretary General, AIM, Haji Maulana Muheijuddin told reporters that activists of AIM caught Salim's wife Yakila red handed along with 2742 pieces of SP capsules, 18 sealed boxes of SP capsules, 45 strips of N10 tablets and four pieces of N10 tablets from her residence on July 28 .
Yakila was taken at the office of AIM and detained there with her son for one night.
She was questioned and beaten in presence of other women as a punishment of involving in the illegal drug business.
But none of the AIM activists touched her body during the punishment.
Beating of women as punishment is permitted by the Islamic Law and the punishment was carried out for the sake of a better society, he claimed.
