Chief Minister N Biren Singh has announced the State Government's Action Plan "100 Action Points For First 100 Days" during a press meet held at the Chief Minister's Secretariat on Saturday afternoon.
The Action Points will provide momentum to the new government to serve the people of Manipur effectively throughout the five years.
Addressing the media, Biren stated that the new government, in recognition of the trust of the people of Manipur, is aiming to strengthen citizen-centric governance, fill gaps in critical infrastructure, frame policies for rapid economic growth and promotion of revenue generation and strive for inclusive development of the entire state.
He said that the Action Points are being announced to inform the public that the BJP-led government is putting its pre-poll promises into action.
Reading out some main points, the CM informed that a Sub-Division Development Monitoring Mission would be launched for which designated Prabhari Officers would be appointed for regular monitoring and competitive ranking of progress.
Health Camps would be organised in each Block during the first 100 days.
He also stated that e-office would be introduced in all Government offices.

Elaborating on Sub-Division Development Monitoring Mission, Biren said that the government is starting the mission to ensure that the fruits of development reach every person and every village in the state.
It will focus on transparent delivery of public services to the poorest of poor in the area, promote inclusive growth, speedy implementation of government programmes in letter and spirit, accessibility of administration to the people and regular functioning of government offices in the Sub-Division.
Ranking of Sub-Divisions for performance against specified targets will also be developed.
He then said that Prabhari Officers for each Sub-Division will be designated from among IAS, IFS and MCS officers.
A Corpus Fund will also be created in Planning Department to meet the special needs of a Sub-Division which are otherwise not covered in any existing programme or project.
Moreover, development of one product for every Sub-Division would be given focussed, he stated.
CM Biren then sought public support and cooperation for successful implementation as the development of a society needs the Government and the public to march together towards growth.
He also urged the CSOs and the people not to be cynical but instead encourage the government's 'War on Drugs', as it is being carried out in the interest of the state.
One should give up the habit of criticising every move of the government, he said, while remarking that the identities of such people are known.
On the matter of the instruments of musicians being set on fire at a Thabal Chongba venue on Friday, Biren condemned the act, stating that the instruments are the livelihoods of the musicians and urged all concerned to approach the government first before instigating the people into violence, or placing restrictions as they please.
"Manipur does not have two governments, but one.
Taking the law into our hands will only bring about unwanted consequences, " the CM contended, while informing that the police have been ordered to arrest the person(s) involved in Friday's incident.
The press meet was also attended by ministers Thongam Biswajit, Yumnam Khemchand, Govindas Konthoujam, Nemcha Kipgen, Awangbow Newmai and chief secretary Dr Rajesh Kumar among others.
