Like Minded Group extends help to family of (late) Arambam Nanao

Like Minded Group (LMG) Manipur in continuation of its initiative of helping the needy and downtrodden section of the society, the Group extended monetary aid of Rs 16, 000 (Rupees sixteen thousand) to the family of (Late) Arambam Nanao of Sagolband Kangabam Leikai today.
A team of LMG led by its president L Kunjeshwar Sharma accompanied by Secretary Ojit Sorokhaibam, Publicity Secretary, Rakesh Naorem and members namely Dr Eteen Maibam, Dr Inaoba Nongmaithem, Ranjit Kangjam, Surendra Ningomba, Maibam Sobita Devi, Ke ke Wahengbam, Maibam Boinao, Leo Nameirakpam, P Rajendro, Kennedy and Sanjitkumar went to the residence of (Late) Arambam Nanao and handed over the monetary assistance to the family members.

Speaking on the sidelines, Rakesh Naorem said that the death of Arambam Nanao is highly suspicious and disturbing and the members of LMG prayed that the departed soul may rest in peace in the Heavenly abode.
With an aim to provide some relief and to help in alleviating the problems of the family members during this period of loss and grief, LMG has extended the monetary aid, he added.
He also prayed that may such unfortunate incidents do not happen in future as it causes extreme pain and grief to the near and dear ones of the victims.
Ojit Sorokhaibam who was also present on the visit denounced the death of Arambam Nanao allegedly caused by the torture meted by police officials misusing the power of their uniform.
Further he expressed belief that authorities concerned will take up measures to ensure that justice will be delivered at the earliest and similar incidents do not recur.
The family members of the deceased also expressed gratitude to Like Minded Group for the help extended to them.
