On being subjected to some intense questioning, Bidyananda confessed that he had illicit affairs with many women at the same time apart from tricking some of them to enter into wedlock with him.
Talking to media persons at the office of TCMDC today, Bidyananda alias Bijando said he married a maiden from Thongju Pechu Lampak on January 28 this year.
To give information about his elopement with the girl, Bidyananda sent an elder co-worker to the girl's house with an instruction to tell the girl's parents that he had lost both his parents.
Bidyananda and the girl got married at Thongju and the whole arrangement for the marriage was done by the bride's party.
Since then, Bidyananda has been living at Thongju.
The couple quarrelled very often for the reason that Bidyananda had extra-marital affairs with other girls.
Not long before his marriage at Thongju, Bidyananda married a girl from Taothong Lamkhai and they were living at Haorang Sabal.
When he came to Thongju, he pretended that he was a bachelor who had no parents or relatives.
But the fact is, he has a wife, a son and a daughter at Haorang Sabal and this was disclosed by Bidyananda himself.
Earlier, Bidyananda eloped with a girl from Tera Urak.
However, as preparations for the marriage ceremony were being made, the girl eloped with another man.
Before this, he eloped with another woman from Thinungei.
At present, he is having affairs with two girls, one from Singjamei Mayengbam Leikai another from Liwa Road.
TCMDC general secretary Sarat Sapam said that the philanderer would be handed over to his parents.
He also appealed to all parents and women to be wary of such womanisers.
