Imphal, June 15 2014:
In one of the most daring intrusions so far, some unidentified persons intruded and ransacked the house of Chief Minister Okram Ibobi at Thoubal Athokpam Makha Leikai.
Reports culled from the spot said that Chief Minister's wife MLA Okram (O) Landhoni went home after attending a meritorious award distribution at around 3 pm today.
On entering the house, she saw all the signs of the house being ransacked.
It is still unclear on which day and at what time, the house was ransacked.
The first floor occupied by Chief Minister O Ibobi and the third floor occupied by son Kennedy were found ransacked with the door locks found broken.

DGP Sahid Ahmad went to Thoubal and inspected the house.
The house of the Chief Minister's younger brother Ibotomba is in front of the CM"s house and all the house guards allotted to the Chief Minister put up at Ibotomba's house.
There was no one in Ibobi's house and it was kept locked.
Ibotomba's house and Ibobi's house have a common entrance gate.
They use this common front gate although Ibobi has another gate in the rear.
It is suspected that the intruders entered the CM's house from the southern side even as forensic experts have already launched an investigation.
A bomb disposal squad checked for presence of any bomb in the house.
The house would be further scanned again tomorrow.
Police have cordoned off the house and they are so far tight-lipped on the daring intrusion.
Notably, the CM's house was guarded by more 30 personnel of 3rd IRB but stayed at Ibotomba's house.
In addition, a commando keep a constant surveillance in the exterior of the house, informed a source.
Following the intrusion, all the 37 personnel led by a Jemadar who were posted at the CM's house have been replaced by a new from the same battalion.
It is yet to be confirmed how many and what types articles were carried away by the intruders.
