Awareness programmes held at various places

Moirang Municipal Council in association with CRED Manipur today organised awareness programmes on waste segregation at Khoyol Keithel Moirang Lamkhai and The Diligent Public School Moirang under the theme, "Swachhata Ke Do Raang, India Vs Garbage" .
It was attended by Moirang Municipal Council, EO, M Inaobi Singh; RO, H Bimol; SO, U Romesh and L Leikhendra, secretary CRED among others.
Speaking on the occasion, E Inaobi stated that the programme was conducted with the aim to make Moirang a Garbage Free Zone.
He appealed to the public to properly segregate their waste items before putting it away in dustbins.
He continued that steps have been taken to use the organic waste as fertilizers and recyclable items have been stored separately by the Municipal Council.
JIRIBAM
District Skill Committee Jiribam in collaboration with Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET), Imphal organised a 2-days Awareness cum Career Counselling Programme for students and unemployed youths of Jiribam district.
The programmes were held at Jiri College, Kadamtala, Lalpani High School and Ahmadabad High School today.
District Skill Committee Jiribam member, Konjengbam Dayananda took part in the programme.
TENGNOUPAL
Institute of Cooperative Management, Imphal and Manipur State Cooperative Bank Ltd (MSCB) today jointly organised a 1-day financial literacy awareness cum members education programme for Tengnoupal LAMPS Cooperative Society Ltd at MTM Hall, Khopinom village in Tengnoupal district.
It was attended by Tengnoupal LAMPS Cooperative Society Ltd president, M Lhunminlal Haokip; MSCB president, P Ranjit; Institute of Cooperative Management (ICM) director, Rangamlian Aimol; MSCB Board of Directors, Mangi, Ibochouba; and Tengnoupal LAMPS Cooperative Society Ltd managing director, Pramodini as presidium members.
Sanjib Irungbam, CSP Cell, MSCB also attended the event as resource person.
