Pherzawl DC hears grievances in Senvon

The 5th District Hill Leaders' Day & Meeyamgi Numit was organised by the District Administration, Pherzawl at the Community Hall of Senvon Village, today during which Pherzawl DC Haulianlal Guite heard various grievances of the public I Dinesh Kumar Singh, SDO (Tipaimukh) and other DLOs led by the DC have been carrying forward the outreach programme of the State Government towards initiation of citizen-centric governance in every part of the region.
At the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that the primary objective of the event was to redress public grievances.
He said that the district administration has been trying its best to resolve all grievances at the earliest.
The DC distributed PHH Ration Cards, seeds, sprayers, text books and school uniforms to select beneficiaries.
He also inaugurated the School Nutrition Garden at Senvon Government High School.
Provisions for setting-up of a bank at Pherzawl were some of the demands made to the DC by the village leaders.
Public welfare services including awareness through PPT presentation on 'NTF' as an alternative source of income and display of VDVK products by Forest Departments; awareness campaign on domestic violence by One Stop Centre; awareness programme on Nipun Bharat and ill effects of drug abuse to school going children by ZEO; identification of eligible widows for Widow Pension Scheme by DSWO; PMMVY schemes for eligible lactating mothers by DPO, ICDS; Aadhaar enrolment and issuance of Domicile/Tribe/Income certificates by the SDO and introduction of Prepaid Meter Connection in Senvon Village were the highlights of the event.
Besides providing other healthcare related services including organizing observation of different programmes viz (World Diabetes Day, World Suicide Prevention Day, National Iodine Deficiency and ill effects of drug abuse among adolescents & Youths), the CMO teams also conducted Covid vaccination programme at the spot.
Fifteen stalls of different departments were opened to hear the demand of the public.
