Ethnic Park impresses Governor

Imphal, November 25 2022:
Governor La Ganesan visited the main venue of the ongoing Manipur Sangai Festival - Sangai Ethnic Park at Moirang Khunou in Bishnupur district this evening.
He visited all the ethnic huts in the park and interacted with different representatives of different communities.
Interacting with the people, the Governor said, "Although we have different religions, cultures, traditions and customs, we are all one.
"This ethnic park is indeed a nice place where we can see almost all the traditions and customs of different communities living in the State.
Through this festival, we can enjoy unity in diversity and oneness amongst ourselves", La Ganesan remarked.
Talking to newsmen, the Governor said that the arrangement made in the park was immense and people could see the beautiful culture and traditions of different communities in the State.
He said, visiting the ethnic park specially the ethnic huts will help one understand the beautiful cultures of different tribes and communities in the State.
The Governor also lauded the efforts made by the Chief Minister and his Council of Ministers to make the Manipur Sangai Festival a grand success.
On his arrival at the park, the Governor was accorded a warm welcome by Works Minister Govindas Konthoujam, Water Resources Minister Awangbow Newmai, MLAs T Robindro, K Leishiyo, Chinlunthang, and Commissioner (Tourism) PK Jha.
