Addressing media persons during a press meet held at Manipur Press Club today, G Molecule shared that he had stayed in Manipur Central Jail Sajiwa due to an unfortunate incident.
During his stay, he had come across that 'the structure and buildings of the jail is in a pitiable state and the prisoners are not given proper food' .

With regards to the statement made by Union Home Minister Amit Shah that 'Jail is a reformation temple', he appealed to all concerned to provide proper healthcare facilities to the prisoners and ambulances to be kept for emergencies.
There are no proper facilities for elderly prisoners which is really unfortunate, he added.
