"Village Economy" campaign launched at Ningthoukhong

"Village Economy", an international campaign designed by D-Cacus Education Centre (DCEC), chief managing director, Dr IS Konthoujam was launched today at DCEC Conference hall in Ningthoukhong.
The "Launching of Village Economy and introduction of Manipur Institute of Medical Sciences Hospital (MIMSH)" was attended by social scientist Dr IS Konthoujam; K Ningthemjao Singh, director LPS Private Limited; and L Gangamani Singh, principal Royal Education Centre, Kha Potshangbam, Nachou as presidium members.
Speaking on the occasion, Kh Ibomcha Singh, vice chairman DCEC, highlighted the training provided by the centre over the years.
He stated that the project to establish a hospital was initiated to help the villagers by providing medical care.
"Village Ecomony will help, the people by'providing housing and education", said Kh Ibomcha while adding that preparations have also been made to establish an Old Age Home.
Dr IS Konthoujam informed that "Village Economy" consist of 12 schemes including individual development, free housing, free education facilities, live-lihood/income generating activities, projects & social security, family/group development, infrastructure development/industries, employment/recognition, cooperation with media group, link with Government facilities and activities on COVID-19.He also mentioned that there will be 24 departments in the proposed Hospital.
"The hospital will be operated in three categories namely Free treatment.
Subsidized rate and General", he asserted.
Dr I S Konthoujam further appealed to the public to provide their support and cooperation to make the project a success.
