Zeme Literature Society Manipur extends gratitude

The Zeme Literature Society Manipur (ZLSM) has expressed gratitude to the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur (BOSEM) for officially approving Zeme as one of the Major Indian Languages (MIL) under BOSEM.
The society in a release issued by president Apung Daime and secretary Samlu Newme praised the BOSEM Chairman Akham Joykumar, Secretary Dr Sapam Mangijao and Deputy Secretary S Jitelal Sharma .
for approving 'ZEME' as one of the MIL subject under the said Board on September 7 last.
Stating that students can now opt for Zeme as their first language in the course study of class LX, X from the academic session 2021-22, ZLSM further lauded DM College of Arts Principal Dr Ch Sheelaramam, MU Professor Dr S Imoba and DM College of Teacher Education Associate Professor Kh Dineshkumer for their guidance and motivation towards inclusion of Zeme as one of the Major Indian Language.
It also extended their acknowledgement to Forest Minister Awangbou Newmai, Power Special Secretary Armstrong Pame and to all who have rendered their support financially and morally throughout the process for the approval of Zeme as MIL to the authority concerned.
