Ayushman Bharat Diwas celebrated across State

Bpr/Chd/Ccp/Jbm/Kak/Kpi/Phz/Tpl/Thb, September 23 2022: As observed across the country, Ayushman Bharat Diwas was celebrated in the State today to mark the 4th anniversary of Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) .

BISHNUPUR
District Health Society, Bishnupur under the aegis of District Administration Bishnupur today observed Ayushman Bharat Diwas at Kyamba Ningshing Shanglen in Bishnupur.

It was attended by Lourembam Bikram, DC Bishnupur; N Herojit Meetei, SP Bishnupur and Dr L Raichandra Singh, CMO Bishnupur as presidium members.

Speaking on the occasion, Lourembam Bikram stated that India's rural population mainly practices subsistence farming while the majority of urban workforce belong to the unorganized sector.

"To cater to the health-care needs of these economically vulnerable populations, the Government has launched PMJAY at the national level and CMHT for the State", he added.

To create awareness on PMJAY, slogan writing and painting competitions were also conducted for school students.

Ejaj Hassan, AC to DC; Dr N Bino Singh, Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Bishnupur; DLOs and students attended the function.

CHANDEL
District Administration Chandel also observed Ayushman Bharat Diwas today at Conference Hall, DC's Office, Mini Secretariat, Chandel.

It was attended by ADM Chandel, Md Firoj Khan; Dr Serthani Serbum, CMO Chandel; students, teachers, staff of Health Department and DLOs of the district.

The programme was hosted by Ng Kennedy Monsang, District Coordinator, CMHT PMJAY Chandel.

As part of the observation, a Painting competition, Slogan writing and Declamation contest were also conducted.

"Health comics" were also distributed to all the students.

CHURACHANDPUR
District Administration Churachandpur also celebrated Ayushman Bharat Diwas today at DTC Hall, Tuibong.

It was attended by DC Churachandpur, Sarath Chandra Arroju; Dr Kim Simte, CMO; S Khaikhopau Ngaihte, ADC; Yumnam Nelson, ADC; DLOs, CMHT/PMJAY beneficiaries, students and medical staff.

Sharing of successful stories and taking of pledge in support of Ayushman Bharat marked the observation.

Prizes were also distributed to the winners of District-Level Painting & Slogan Writing competition.

JIRIBAM
District Administration Jiribam also celebrated Ayushman Bharat Diwas at DC Office, Counting Hall No 2 in Chingdong Leikai.

Kh Janaki Devi, Adhyaksha, Jiribam Zilla Parishad; W Malemnganba Chenglei, DC Jiribam; S Indrajit Singh, SDC and Dr E Okendro Singh, CMO Jiribam attended the event as presidium members.

As part of the celebration, prizes were distributed to the winners of the District Level Painting & Slogan Writing competitions.

KAKCHING
A District Level Painting competition on "Ayushman Bharat Diwas" was held today at Junior High School, Kakching.

It was organized by the District Administration and Zonal Education Office, Kakching.

About 109 students from different schools took part in the competition which was divided in two categories.

Cash prizes and certificates were distributed to the first three winners of both categories during the Ayushman Bharat Diwas observation held at DC Office Complex, Kakching.

The observation was graced by Ph Jiten Singh, Adhyaksha, Kakching Zilla Parishad; Somorjit Salam, DC Kakching and Dr Rajen, CMO Kakching as presidium members.

KANGPOKPI
District Administration Kangpokpi in collaboration with State Health Agency, ZEO and Nodal Officer CMHT/ PMJAY of the district celebrated Ayushman Bharat Diwas today at Gamnom Saparmeina Community Hall in Saitu Gamphazol.

A District Level Slogan Writing & Painting competition was also conducted as part of the celebration.

It was participated by 78 students from 12 Government schools.

DC Kangpokpi, Kengoo Zuringla presented certificates & cash incentives to the winners of the competitions in the presence of Sapam Bishwojit Singh, SDO Saitu Gamphazol.

Recipients of the State Teachers' Award from the district namely Seikholen Singsit (Science Graduate Teacher), Headmaster in-charge of Keithelmanbi Government High School and Kharga Prasad Prasain (Hindi Graduate Teacher), Headmaster of Bishnulal High School were also felicitated during the function.

PHERZAWL
Ayushman Bharat Diwas was also celebrated today at Jubilee Standard School, Parbung.

A District Level Slogan Writing & Painting competition on the theme, "Health Care System vis-a-vis Covid-19 Pandemic" was conducted as part of the observation.

Altogether, 56 students from three different schools took part in the event.

The District Administration awarded cash incentives and certificates to the winners.

TENGNOUPAL
To celebrate Ayushman Bharat Diwas, District Administration Tengnoupal in collaboration with ZEO organised a Painting & Slogan Writing competition today in two categories.

The competitions were held under the themes, "AB-PMJAY- world's largest Government funded healthcare" and "AB-PMJAY- promote health and wellness and provide insurance benefits to the poor" .

THOUBAL
District Administration Thoubal also observed Ayushman Bharat Diwas at Khongjom Standard English School.

It was attended by DC Thoubal, A Subhash Singh and CMO Thoubal, Dr Y Nokul Singh.

As part of the programme, District level painting competition on the theme "Ayushman Bharat, Health for All" for school students was also conducted.
