With four persons confirmed positive out of 416 samples tested for Covid-19 during the last 24 hours, the State logged daily positivity rate of one per cent.
The fresh positive cases belong to Imphal East, Imphal West, Ukhrul and Tengnoupal, according to a bulletin issued by Additional Director (Health) and Covid-19 Common Control Room spokesman Dr Khoirom Sasheekumar Mangang.
Following recovery, six Covid-19 positive people were discharged from home isolation (4) and Covid Care Facility (2) during the last 24 hours.
The cumulative number of Covid-19 positive cases in the State as on Wednesday is 1,37,136 (general population 1,32,122 and Central security personnel 5,014).This figure includes 44 active cases, all from general population and 1,34,972 recovered cases (general population 1,29,965 and Central security personnel 5,007) .
The recovery rate as on Wednesday is 98.42 per cent whereas the death toll remains unchanged at 2120 as there was no report of Covid related death during the last 24 hours.
A total of 113 D-type oxygen cylinders were made available to different health care facilities of the State yesterday.
Currently, two (out of 300) Covid beds of JNIMS and one (out of 190) of RIMS are occupied.
The cumulative number of Covid vaccine doses administered in the State till April 4 is 27,96,913 (first dose 15,44,961, second dose 11,85,105 and precautionary dose 66,847) .
Till April 4, 50.62 per cent of the State's total eligible population has received both the first and second doses of Covid vaccine while 61.56 per cent has been given the first dose.
