WFA, ICSA seal contrasting wins in KI football league

Imphal, January 17 2024: Wangoi Football Association (WFA) and ICSA triumphed in their respective league matches of Under-13 Khelo India Girls Football League 2023-24 at CYLC Ground, Chingamathak on Wednesday.

WFA beat YWC 6-4 as Sharangthem Rina Devi (3, 8, 30) claimed a hat-trick, Asem Bidiyalaxmi Devi (27, 29) scored a brace and Mutum Basantipuja Chanu (25+1) contributed one goal in their win.

YWC, on the other hand, scored through Laishram Bidyalaxmi Devi (28, 36), Konthoujam Rashesori Devi (10) and Laishram Bidyalaxmi Devi (28, 36).ICSA, meanwhile, secured a 5-4 victory against Women Football Academy.

Laishram Rani Devi (25+1), Irengbam Sanatombi Devi (29), Oinam Retika Devi (35), Irengbam Hemapati Devi (42) and Nganthoi Oinam (43) each converted for the winning side, while WFA got their four goals through Wahengbam Bedanti Devi (13, 19), Lanchenbi Lourembam (1) and Moirangthem Thadoi Devi (25+1) .
