WYC, Blue Hawk & KCC enjoy big wins in Luwangpokpa T-20 Trophy

WYC, Blue Hawk and KCC notched up comprehensive wins in the 4th MNCA Luwangpokpa T-20 Trophy games on Friday.
WYC made light work of KCDO, handing their opponents a 10-wicket defeat in their league match played at Public Ground, Khangabok Part-III Cherapur, Thoubal.
Electing to bat, KCDO were all out for 92 in 19.4 overs with only Bikram Phamdom (30) and Md Umar Sheikh (18) reaching double figures in their innings.
Wanghkhem Laksmon Singh and Ruhit Nongmaithem led the scalping for WYC, claiming three wickets each.
Huirongbam Biteshwor Singh did his with two wickets and Mangi Sharma Gotimayum contributed one.
WYC then needed 11.5 overs to complete the target courtesy of openers Ruhit Nongmaithem (53) and Wangkhem Shamungou Singh (27) .
Blue Hawk, on the other hand, crushed KSDO by seven wickets at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium.
They restricted KSDO to 131/8 and they eclipsed the latter's total in 18.4 overs.
Semson Singh Soibam grabbed three wickets, Samsung Meitei Heisnam got two, and Ningombam Jackiechan Singh and Jitendra Bishan Thakur took one each for Blue Hawk.
In their innings, Khushru Pravez (48), Md Arif Khan (22) and Md Raish Raza (20) were the main run-getters for KSDO.
Mutum Sudhir Singh led the Blue Hawk's comfortable run chase with an unbeaten 53, aided by contributions from Mintu Chandra (29), Amom Guniram Singh (25), Dijen Singh Naorem (18) and Becker Roy (1 not out) .
For KSDO, Shajahan, Lakimbur and Md Riyajuddin each bagged one wicket.
KCC enjoyed a comprehensive 130-run victory against SU at Moijing Public Ground, Thoubal.
Opting to bat, KCC scored 189/3 as Thokchom Momocha Singh top-scored with 68 not out and Hijam Boba Singh also batted well to make an unbeaten 55, supported by Nongmaithem Dijaraj Singh (23), Rohen Singh (16) and Nameirakpam Arbin Singh (16) .
KCC then took 14.2 overs to wipe out SU's batting lineup.
Singthoi Singh Nandeibam was the chief destroyer for KCC with four wickets while Yumnam Sheiteendra Singh snapped two, with Tayenjam Tomba Singh, Wahengbam Somorjit Singh and Nameirakpam Arbin Singh taking one each in their emphatic win.
Meanwhile, YUCC got a walkover against SDC.
