Looms donated to relief camps

Imphal, January 05 2024:
Under its Sustainable Livelihood Mission, Pan India Manipuri Meitei Scientists & Academicians Association (PIMMSAA) donated two wooden looms to displaced women from Moreh and Churachandpur who are taking refuge at the Wangjing Lamding Higher Secondary School relief camp on Friday.
According to PIMMSAA, the looms were provided to the displaced women with the hope of facilitating income generation opportunities.
The association will continue such assistance to the displaced people living in different relief camps across the state, the association assured.
