Ngarian village erects chief's monolith

Ngarian (Raengzaeng) village erected and unveiled a monolith in commemoration of the 35 years of chiefship and ex-officio chairman df the village namely Rangjandun Kamei on Friday.
The monolith unveiling ceremony held at Ngarian village under Kangvai sub-division, Churachandpur district was marked by traditional fervour and gaiety with a sense of community pride, showcasing the vibrant cultural tapestry of the village.
The ceremony was attended by Loktak Project Affected Hill Areas Chiefs' Association, Manipur chairman PG Kamunaipou as chief guest and his presence added a layer of significance to the proceedings, underlining the regional acknowledgment and support for Ngarian village's leadership.
This testified the undisputed and recognised authority of Rangjandun Kamei as the chief/Khullakpa and ex-officio chairman of Ngarian village.
The event was also attended by local dignitaries, community members and well-wishers who came together to celebrate the leadership and potential of Ngarian village under the stewardship of Rangjandun Kamei.
