MAYOL urges all to join National assembly on Jan 9

The Manipur Youth League (MAYOL) has appealed to all the people to come and join the 'National assembly' which would be held on January 9 at 11 am at Manipur University, Canchipur.
MAYOL's long march which was flagged off from Kangla on December 20 will conclude on January 9 at Canchipur with a National assembly.
Saying that several resolutions would be adopted at the National assembly, MAYOL has appealed to one and all to take part in the National assembly.
The main agenda of the National assembly are; critical challenges facing Meiteis at present, ways and means to overcome these challenges, National policies and programmes to overcome these challenges and responsibilities of the masses to overcome these challenges, conveyed a press release issued by MAYOL.

Meanwhile, the long march reached Sagolband Tera today.
Today's leg of the march was flagged off from Malom.
From Malom, the marchers headed to Kwakeithel Heinoukhongnembi.
A public meeting was held at the local community hall where the marchers had their lunch.
Senior journalist Ahongsangbam Mobi and Manipur International University Dean Dr Thokchom Chandramani were the main speakers at the meeting.
From Kwakeithel, the long march made its way to Sagolband Tera.
Another public meeting was held at Oriental College where Advocate L Jadumani, Editors' Guild Manipur president Khogendra Khomdram and KSA president Sukham Bidyananda spoke.
