Police reports Tusom hunters died of gunshot

Ukhrul, December 01 2014 : The three hunters of New Tusom found dead in a jungle yesterday have been brought to Ukhrul on Monday and police has confirmed that the trio died of gunshot.

After conducting the inquest on the bodies, police has confirmed that the three persons bore a bullet wound on the bodies.

According to the post mortem report, some pellets of SBBL gun were found inside the bodies.

Police said AS Raingam recieved a gunshot in the middle of chest, Vs Chihanpam was shot on the back of his head and also had a cut mark on his neck and belly, while Vs Shimreiso was shot on the temple.

Jessami police along with the local villagers today retrieved the bodies from a spot called Shetha, which is located 40-km in jungle from New Tusom and between Chingai and Kuingai village.

Police are still in the dark who could behind the tragic incident.
