Van Mahotsav begins at Wakha school

Imphal, July 14 2023: Wakha Primary School and Directorate of Environment and Climate Change launched a 15-day Van Mahotsav at the school campus on Friday.

Speaking on the sidelines of the launch programme, Wakha Primary School head master Ch Joykumar Sharma informed that the programme is being organised to make students aware, about the importance of preserving the environment.

As a part of the programme, planting of tree saplings, making herbal garden, and cleanliness and go green drives will be taken up as activities in the school, he added.

Tree saplings were planted at the school campus as a part of the Van Mahotsav observance.
