Parshuram Thingnam awarded Yuva Purashkar 2023

Imphal, January 13 2024: Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi president Madhav Kaushik presented the Sahitya Akademi Yuva Purashkar 2023 in Manipuri to Parshuram Thingnam in an award ceremony held at Rabindra Sadan auditorium, Kolkata, West Bengal on Saturday.

The award was conferred to Parshuram by the Akademi for his poetry anthology 'Matamgi Sheireng 37' .

Parshuram Thingnam was born in 1989 at Kakching Khunou, Kakching district.

He has so for authored three poetry anthologies 'Migi Machu' (2007), Ai Amasu Aigi Ima (2011) and 'Matamgi Sheireng 37' (2018) .
