Kala Utsav-2023 concludes

Imphal, January 13 2024:
The Kala Utsav-2023 organised by ministry of education at Bal Bhawan, new Delhi from January 9 concluded on Friday with union minister of state for education and external affairs Dr RK Ranjan and union minister of state for education and skill development Dr Subash Sarkar attending the valedictory function.
Altogether 19 students from Manipur along with three officials took part in the Kala Utsav which was participated by students from different states.
The students displayed performing art and cultural shows during the Utsav.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Rk Ranjan pointed out that Kala Utsav is a platform to preserve and promote the rich culture and heritage of the country and aimed at building a united and harmonious nation.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also takes keen interest to expand and popularise the Utsav, he said.
Altogether 336 girls and 334 boy students from across the country participated and competed in 10 art forms including vocal music - classical, traditional folk, instrument music - percussion, melodic, classical dance and folk, visual art dimension - 2 and 3, indigenous toys and games and drama solo acting.
