Imphal, April 05 2024:
A man who was said to be homeless and named Thokchom Rajesh, aged about 54 years and son of Th Puina was lying in a very poor health condition at Sekmai Koujengleima on March 39 and he was picked up by a team of Sekmai police station.
The man was admitted to CHC Sekmai for medical treatment but he passed away at around 10.30 am on April 3 .
After registering a case, the dead body is now kept at RIMS morgue for post mortem and proper identification of the man, said a press release issued by the OC, Sekmai police station.
It also said that the body would be disposed of as per the law of the land if no one claims the same on or before 10 am, April 8 .
The deceased is around 5'2" in height, has oval face, slim body and black & short hair.
He was wearing one full jogging shirt (grey colour with red stripe), one olive green full-sleeve shirt, one inner white shirt, black colour short pants and a bracelet of steel colour.
