MAYOL sustains campaign for ethical voting

Continuing its campaign for 'Vote for National Regeneration', Manipur Youth League (MAYOL) organised public meeting at different locations.
In a release, MAYOL publicity secretary Mayengbam Premananda informed that the campaign was held at Irilbung Thongkha and Laiphrakpam on Thursday and at Samurou Awang Leikai community hall, Irom Meijrao Laxmi Bazar and Chongtham Kona on Friday.
Several speakers namely LIPUL advisor Puyam Joy, AMYPCO vice president M Joy, MAYOL general secretary Laisram James, Missing Committee president RK Bidyalaxmi, MAYOL president Ashem Prince and LIPUL advisor Kangjam Maharabi elaborated on purpose and objective of the campaign.
Resolutions were also adopted after the meeting including desisting from accepting bribes from candidates, avoiding festivities including feasts, refraining from proxy voting, not participating in election roadshows and rallies, prevent use of muscle-power to induce voters and preserve one's Right to Vote, the release added.
