Accused in SBI loot case arrested in Delhi

Imphal, April 05 2024:
The SBI Bishnupur branch staff, who went missing along with Rs 2 crore and gold ornaments worth Rs 50 lakh, has been arrested by Delhi police on Friday.
According to police report, Laishram Monarch Grace of Kodompokpi Mamang Awang Leikai, a cashier at SBI Bishnupur branch was arrested by a team of Delhi Police.
On March 2, SBI Bishnupur manager Soibam Romesh filed a report at Bishnupur police station in connection with the incident.
As part of the investigation, the Bishnupur police informed the Delhi police following which the special crime branch team of Delhi police arrested Laishram Monarch from Patel Chest Christian Colony located adjacent to Maurice Nagar Police station in Delhi around 5:30 pm .
