Aid provided to violence-hit families

Kakching, November 11 2023:
Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Kakching Branch on Saturday provided kitchen sets to 132 families whose houses were burnt down and are now living in various relief camps set up across Kakching district.
The relief items were handed over jointly by IRCS Kakching vice president N Debendra, secretary Kshetrimayum Dharmadas and members at the relief camps opened up at Indoor Stadium, Kakching; Lamjao Upper Primary School; Khomdonbi Memorial English School, Kakching Khunou; Wangoo Chigonglei Makhong; Wangoo Tera Lupa Marup; Wangoo LYA Club; Wangoo Laipham Upper Primary School; and HAWA Club, Wangoo.
Meanwhile, family members of Dr Yumnam Gunamani of Wangkhei Keithel Ashangbi distributed relief items at relief camps opened at Kumbi Terakha Upper Primary School and Kumbi Santhong Awang Leikai on the occasion of his birthday on November 5 .
On the other hand, CCIAN Forum Peace Committee on Friday provided monetary aid to policeman Naorem Kishan, VDF member Mutum Basanta and two other village volunteers who are undergoing treatment at Raj Medicity for injuries suffered during an attack by.kuki militants at Kangchup Chingkhong on November 7 .
