Since May 3, Raj Medicity and its entire staff including doctors and nurses have been treating injured patients 24x7 with dedication and sacrifice, said the hospital requesting all concerned not to ask the institute for donations.
Speaking to reporters, Raj Medicity Chairman and Managing Director Haobijam Rajen said the hospital has been treating those who have been injured in the conflict without charging any money.
The hospital has no funds to cover the charge of their treatment.
The service is being made possible by the sacrifices of the entire staff of the hospital, he said.
The staff of the hospital have been taking half their salaries since May.
The other half of their salaries are being used in procuring consumable and life saving drugs for treatment of those who have been injured in the conflict.
Moreover, the staff have been down-sized by 50 percent.
They may be engaged once the present crisis subsides, he added.
He also informed that around Rs 12.3 lakh donated by generous persons is being used in providing treatment to all injured persons including civilians and village volunteers.
The conflict has not ended.
Many more civilians may fall victim to the conflict.
The hospital will provide best care and treatment to all injured in the future too, he said.
He appealed to all to help the hospital provide best care and treatment to the injured and bless the staff for the sacrifice they are making.
