Imphal, January 17 2024: A six-week entrepreneurship skill development programme on photography and videography, which is being organised by Ministry of Micro Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) Development and Facilitation Office, Imphal, was inaugurated at Manipur Digital Photo Studio, Lamboi Khongnangkhong on Wednesday.

Speaking at the inauguration function, Imphal Municipal Corporation, Public Work Committee chairperson Herojit Ngangomba informed that it is no longer the age of staying idle after obtaining a certificate through a training programme, while urging for cultivating inborn talents or learning new skills to self-employ ourselves.

He then informed that MSME has been organising various training programmes under different schemes for educated youth to generate self-employment opportunities.

The banks have also been granting loans to those who have obtained certificates after completing training programmes in this regard, he added.

The inaugural function was also attended by Manipur Industrial Development Council chairman P Loken Singh, Manipur Digital Photo Studio managing director G James Sharma and MSME DFO Imphal office superintendent U Jugeshwor Singh as presidium members.
