NSUI Manipur warns of indefinite protest

Demanding the government to restore peace at the earliest possible, National Students' Union of India (NSUI), Manipur cautioned of launching indefinite street protest till peace and harmony returns to the state.
In a release, NSUI Manipur president Md Kabir Ahamad expressed serious concern that the ethnic violence is mainly affecting the students.
The educational system was getting back on track after the pandemic but is worst affected due to the ongoing crisis and failure of the government to contain the violence, he pointed out, while lamenting that a number of student are stuck in relief camps and facing hard times.
Asking the government to prioritise health and general safety of all the students and make available basic commodities to them, he appealed to the government to restore peace and normalcy so that students can focus on their education.
