Speaking on the occasion, Krishnachandra delved on the reasons of AMUCO submitting an 8-point memorandum to PM Narendra Modi and the need to discuss the demands in detail through different phases for bringing up a common agenda.
It is the wish of the people and also the government to bring about a lasting solution to the present crisis in the state.
However, it is very unfortunate that no solution can be seen as of now.
Therefore, it is time for all to come together under a common platform and exert pressure on the government of India to do the needful, he said.
Krishnachandra affirmed AMUCO's stand that there can be lasting peace in the state only when the 8-point demands submitted to the PM are fulfilled.
