Imphal, July 10 2023: Women's Welfare Association, Uripok Sorbon Thingel Haorongbam Leikai and RIMS Road South worn-en volunteers organised skill development train-ing programme on making candles and incense sticks for women inmates of the relief centre set up at THAU Sports Complex, Thang-meiband.

The association will mar-ket the candles and incense sticks made by the displaced people with 80 per cent of the profit to be distributed among the inmates and the remaining 20 per cent to village volunteers defending peripheral villages.

It may be mentioned that the women volunteers had conducted a similar train-ing programme at the re-lief camp set up at Trade & Expo Centre, Lamboik-hongnangkhong.
