AMA donates 216.50 lakh to relief camps

The Association of Meiteis in the Americas (AMA) has announced completion of its donation drive to various Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and clubs of Mani-pur involved in relief efforts for the displaced individu-als affected by the current Meitei-Kuki ethnic conflict.
In a press communiqu�, AMA informed that it raised Rs 16,50,000 from over 300 donors with the said amount efficiently disbursed to CSOs and clubs actively engaged in the relief efforts.
"These organisations are diligently working towards addressing the urgent needs of the individuals affected by the conflict.
We express our utmost appreciation to all the donors for their un-wavering support in making this achievement possible," the AMA said, and conveyed gratitude to all the generous contributors as their sup-port and contributions have made a significant difference in assisting the displaced in-dividuals and helping them rebuild their lives amidst the challenging circumstances.
AMA extended the finan-cial support to relief camps in Manipur through 36 num-bers of CSOs, NGOS, clubs and organisations involved in providing aid, shelter and necessary supplies to those staying in relief camps.
