Shija empaneled with Nagaland Govt's CMHIS

Shija Hospitals & Research Institute Pvt Ltd (SHRI) is now empaneled with the Government of Nagaland for the implementation of the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) with signing of an agreement between Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Nagaland's Health Protection Society CEO and SHRI BD & Operations DGM on September 5 .
In a release, SHRI manager-business development L Premjit Singh informed that as part of this collaboration, Shija Hospitals will serve as a vital component of the CMHIS network of service providers.
Under the agreement, Shija Hospitals will offer a wide range of hospitalisation services for clinical conditions and diseases requiring in-patient secondary and tertiary care hospitalisation.
This includes medical and surgical interventions, daycare treatments, and diagnostic procedures, all in accordance with the provisions outlined in Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), it added.
The release continued that beneficiaries of the CMHIS can avail themselves of coverage of up to Rs 5 lakh, ensuring that they have access to quality healthcare services without the burden of financial constraints.
The CMHIS, launched by the Government of Nagaland in October 2022, is a significant initiative aimed at providing comprehensive health insurance coverage to the residents of the state.
One segment of CMHIS beneficiaries includes the employees and pensioners of the Government of Nagaland, it farther mentioned.
