KET Test conducted, KMHSM celebrates

Kakching Educational Trust (KET) on Sunday conducted KET Test 2024 at JRD Pathseeker's Academy, Kakching-Irengband Road to select students for its Scholarship 2024 given to students studying in both government and private schools of Kakching.
Total of 180 class IX students participated in the test out of which Naorem Wilson, Sonalika Yengkhom, Nongmaithem Rosepriya of Martin Grammar School; Pushpa Naorem, Mayanglambam Momoko, Moirangthem Mangal Meitei, Yumnam Saroja, Mayanglambam Bishwanath, Shougaijam Jennyson, Yendrembam Lasya Devi (Padma Ratna English School); Bramahcharimayum Gayatri (MMS Genius Academy), Pukhrambam Venugopal (Mary Immaculate Catholic School); and Ningthoujam Luhenba, Mayanglambam Charanjit and Pukhrambam Ulliver (JNV SA Umathel) have been selected for the interview.
KET prize presented to government school students also awarded to Kakching Higher Secondary School's Ningombam Luxmi of Chumnang Leikai, Yambem Thoisana Devi of Turel Wangma Pukhri Pareng and Naorem Rani Devi of Sumak Leikai.
Meanwhile, Kha Manipur Hindusthani Sangeet Mahavidyalaya (KMHSM), Kakching celebrated its Golden Jubilee by organising a production session of Classical Music Fusion (Jugalbandi) at its auditorium on Sunday.
The programme was attended by KMHSM, president Dr Mayanglambam Rajkumar, former president Kshetrimayum Mangal and member and cultural activist Naorem Chandramani as presidium members.
As part of the event, a souvenir was released.
Speaking on the occasion, KMHSM secretary cum principal Sh Nabakumar Sharma informed that the Classical Music Fusion (Jugalbandi) has been organised as part of 2023-24 event under the aegis of Union Ministry of Culture and National School of Drama.
