Humanitarian aid extended, UFO appreciates

In continuation of the humanitarian aid extended to the people affected by the ongoing conflict in Manipur, the Rotary Club of Polo City Imphal provided relief materials to Leimaram SC Girls Hostel Relief Camp today.
The relief materials included 25 bright plastic buckets (100 litres), 2 gas stoves, books, toys & snacks for children.
According to a release issued by Rotary Club of Polo City Imphal, 25 families from Churachandpur have been taking shelter at the relief camp since May last year.
Members of the club led by its president Gopal Kshetrimayum and secretary Dr Chingtham Deepak also interacted with the conflict survivors staying in the relief camp and discussed their present needs, difficulties, sorrows & griefs.
Gopal Kshetrimayum assured to donate loom (phisakol) & other possible assistance to the survivors.
He also shared that the club will be organising a health checkup programme specially for BP, thyroid & eye patients shortly in the relief camp.
Meanwhile, the Universal Friendship Organisation, Central Committee (HEIPOK) has extended its heartfelt gratitude to the Frontline Helpline Group for donating shoes, drinking water and food items to the volunteers of Nongpok Pana Tengol Lakpa Loishang of UFO.
