Assistance to riot-hit people continues

Many organisations and philanthropists continued to reach out to riot-affected people-taking shelter in relief camps in Kakching, Bishnupur and Thoubal districts.
Meitei Pangal community from Keibung, Heirok denizens, Thoubal Okram Tengbang Lup and Kakching High School 1984 Matric Batch extended essential items and monetary aid to relief camps set up at Sanatombi High School, Keirak, Wangoo Heinouthabi, Nungu Primary School, Tangjeng Khu-nou, Heirok Higher Secondary School, Kakching Higher Secondary School, Kakching Wairi Kongoi community hall, Kakdiirig Public School, Yumbi Macha High School Kakching,
Victory High School Kakching, Grace Cottage Academy Kakch ing and Manipur Life Challenge School Kakching.
Similarly, Meitei Pukei Loop (Lup) and Athouba Ningsing Loop, Cachar (Assam) also extended essential items and monetary assistance to relief camps set up at Tangjeng Khunjao, Moirang Lamkhai, Narensana, Thamnapokpi, Ngangkh'a Leikai; Khoiru, Moirang Okshungbung, Tera Khongsangbi, Tronglaobi, Phojakhai and Moirang Turel Mapan (Kwakta ward no 9) in Bishnupur district under the theme 'Relief for the Conflict victims of Manipur 2023' .
Meanwhile, as a part of the initiative of Social Welfare Department, disabled appli ances/aids were distributed by Thoubal DC Ahanthem Subash to 18 differently abled people taking shelter in 7 relief camps in Thoubal district.
