Relief items provided, blood camp held

Imphal, June 14 2023:
One India Foundation, New Delhi led by its national secretary (organisation) Sana Meitram visited the relief camp at Manipur College, Imphal run and managed by Peace and Relief Committee, Singjamei under the guidance of MA-HUD minister Y Khemchand on Tuesday and distributed mattresses, pillows and other consumable items for the displaced people taking refuge in the camp.
In a release, the foundation expressed gratitude to Rajya Sabha MP professor Rakesh Sinha for his support and guidance and informed that the team would be visiting different relief camps in the state to provide relief materials and create awareness on the importance of peace, harmony, and co-ex-istence.
It also wished early restoration of peace, normalcy and harmony in the state.
People Resource Develop ment Association, Bishnupur in collaboration with Rural Welfare Development Society and TANYAK provided carry bags and inner garments at the relief camp opened at Moirang Okshongbung Upper Primary School on Tuesday.
Similarly, Ngaikhong Khu-llen Lai Haraoba Committee donated the offerings made at the annual ritual of Ibud hou Khumaba Thangjing held on June 11 to relief camps opened at Kumbi High School and Kumbi Leirak Achouba Laishram Leikai community hall on Tuesday.
On the other-hand, 1979 Dhanamanjuri College Science Stalwarts, Manipur donated a sum of Rs 41,000 to JNIMS hospital for management of injured patients, while Manipur State Shumang Leela Council provided rain coats, slippers and trousers to locals defending their villages located in peripheral areas including Chandonpokpi, Chairel Mang-jin, Wangoo and Ahallup.
United Clubs' Organisation and Apunba Meira Paibi Lup Ward no 9 along with JNIMS blood bank organised blood donation camp for the third time at JIMIS.
In all, 20 donors donated their blood at the blood do nation camp.
