Imphal, January 11 2024:
Three ministers on Thursday rushed to Delhi after Union home minister Amit Shah called them for an immediate meeting.
However, there is no confirmed report about the trio's summoning by the Union minister.
According to sources, RD&PR minister Yumnam Khemchand, health minister Dr Sapam Ranjan and education minister Th Basanta Kumar left for New Delhi around 1:40 pm.
The ministers were accompanied by Moirang MLA Thongam Shanti, sources revealed.
Though exact reason for their Delhi visit remains sketchy, the sources speculated that it might be to ascertain BJP state government's view regarding the eight month long conflict in Manipur.
The sources have divulged that the ministers will have a meeting with Amit Shah on Thursday itself as soon as they reach Delhi.
Meanwhile, BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sharda and BJP MLAs recently went to meet BJP national president JP Nadda in the national capital in connection with the ongoing crisis in the state but returned back without meeting him.
Prior to the Delhi trip the BJP MLAs and party office bearers also held a meeting at party's office.
